to bypass just remove the wire and tape it up, the switch itself is just a grounding device, to get rid of it just match the threads to a short bolt with a sealing washer will eliminate it

No one "needs" a neutral switch/ light. It's just another idiot light/device.

81 and 82 it was tied into all the safety switches, had to be in neutral to start any other year it was just the ground for the neutral light
