Hey guys, Im a 19 year old college student going to school for auto/diesel technologies. I know alot about cars, decent at fab work and I have a decent grasp on artist abilities. I want to build a bobber, I picked up a running '82 xs650 for $400 the bike is running/driving, but not really my style. I love the look of the bobber, so that's what Im doing. Where do I start?
There's a couple bikes that I found on here that really stand out to me, I will post pictures later. I would like to buy a frame and go from there, using as much of my existing parts as possible. I can fabricate so no worries there.
Are the companies to look for, stay away from, etc?
