the goal I have for the bike is "original restoration"... just going to clean up what's there and replace only what's missing (I think it's missing a grab bar on the back of the seat... and I think the tail light has been moved)... not bragging but, it even looks better then the pictures show. even the tires look new... thanks for looking and any imput would would be appreciated!

nice, real nice, that is clean
I have the twin in the shed, 12000 miles, Yours is nicer!
Ive been gathering up rubber parts to get it drivable.

once you get it tuned and sorted they are really nice to ride.
I ride mine 81 to work most days.
be careful and have fun.

The taillight was mounted on the rear grab bar. Congrats on your new bike!

Thanks azman that's what I was thinking... this won't be a daily driver. ... it's too new.... I have a gen1 78 gs550 that I ride daily. ... infact I put 400+ miles on it over the weekend....

Those grab bars are a dime a dozen on eBay. Lots of people chop the later specials and ditch that grab bar. Should be real easy to find.

I cant believe such low miles on it,your a lucky man.I have the grab bar and the plastic mount for the tail light from my '81 chopper. You can P.M. me with your address and I will send you the parts if you want them.
