Found a guy that had a garage full of tools for sale - all made out of Chinesium but I couldn’t resist buying a couple of items, not because I needed them, but more for the fact that I didn’t have them in my tool chest already. First item was an engine bore gauge. Not bad for the $25 I paid for it. Thought this may come in handy for my next XS project. Second item was a stripped spark plug hole repair kit (14mm). I don’t think I’d use this on a really expensive engine, but something like a lawnmower for sure. $20. Heck, the steel case was worth that much.

I have a thread repair kit, m5 up to about m19, including drills, taps handles all made of Chinesium and all in a nice neat steel case. Use them all the time. You can buy a nice expensive set with a brand name from a reputable tool shop, but I'd bet they're made in China too.
