Alright guys, new guy here from Ireland.
Got this 81 XS650 a couple of weeks back, im only 23 and its my first bike so im looking forward to doing alot with it!
I got it as a non runner, im a car mechanic by trade so i know my way around engines and with that knowledge and from reading on here i had it running well in no time!
Tank was full of crud, cleaned out the carbs and set them up a bit, new battery and new plugs, got it going but was still hard to start.
I decided to rewire it because i didnt like the POs wiring job and now it starts first kick!
so heres some pics, there not great but you will get the idea.
Also, does anyone here know what back fairing it has, iv been lookin at ALOT of xs pics and have not seen one the same!
