WTF. Got the front forks disassembled last week, and finally got around to playing with them again. Everything is there, in good shape (even found the PO put in some progressive springs), but the lower rebound springs (under the damper) was GONE. 
two things, I'm a clean freak in the garage, so it's not like I misplaced 2 of them, and they are definitely not in the fork lowers.
So anybody ever see this mod? is it even a mod or is it a PO who didn't know what the hell he was doing????
Never seen anything like that before. If anyone else has, feedback would be much appreciated!
