No xs650 in Iran

I had an Iranian guy come up to me out of the blue the other day and make some nice and friendly comments about my bike, which were appreciated.

Then he said "I have never seen a bike that size in Iran as its illegal"

He wasn't exactly sure but thought that the maximum engine size was around 200cc for Joe blog.

He also said "people would absolutly love to have a bike with an engine that size" eg 650cc.
If that's true then Iran is a sadder place than I thought.
