I've tried googling "heat shield pipes" and didn't find anything. Can anyone tell me what kind of exhaust this is?

The stock pipes on that bike. Originally all chrome.

I think they might be standard Honda CL pipes, they had several different size engines all with high pipes

Honda CL have those high pipes stock... cool vibe ala flat-track style.... the SL had more like TT style pipes
