Oil cooler

Has anybody installed the Heiden Tuning oil cooler kit from Mikes's XS ?
It looks like a good design and install's with no modifications, I also like the idea of the Honda paper filter. These 650's run hot, I don't want to install a conventional oil cooler, clutters up the look of the bike, the Heiden system looks like a good alternative.

You mean the one pictured here? If so... yup! It's an easy, attractive, inexpensive, and functional (I think) upgrade. I don't have any "before" numbers, but my oil temp seems to stay under about 240F at speed.

I use it for the benefit of the filter. The cooling part is likely not large but it no doubt adds cooling to the engine. A good addition to these bikes.
