oil in neutral switch?????

Yeah, me again. Trying to get this sorted out so I CAN RIDE !!!! and no luck. All kinds of mysteries. Just trying to eliminate possibilities 1 at a time.

Neutral switch, should there be oil in the switch ?

???Also continuity does not change with switch compressed or relaxed ????
is that right???

There should be no oil. Its a switch, so its role in life is to give continuity when its closed and vice versa.

basically the switch internals gets loose, if you restake the switch housing it quits leaking oil,,, a light punch with a cold chisel reseats the switch (out of machine using a socket as a lower stop)
