Hey GKXS! Love the first bike you made! Can you tell me if the front fender is a stock one cut down, or where you got it from?

I got that front fender so long ago, i can't remember where from, though i have seen these guys do something very similar. http://www.motolanna.com/ourshop/cat_367915-Fenders.html I just got mine powder coated black

Mounted the engine to see what brackets needed modifying to fit the XS1 engine in the 78 frame.

All brackets lined up except for the front engine mount. The XS1 engine extends slightly more forward, brining the front engine bracket mount about 5mm forward of the mounting holes on the frame.

Here's what i did to the front bracket get it to fit the frame:

Fill in the holes:

Re-drill them:

Re-mount to frame:

Still needs some cleaning up, but all in all it came out alright
