paint question

new to the hvlp paint gun's getting a lot of orange peel. I painted for years with normal paint guns with great turnout with the hvlp I'm getting a lot of orange peel what am I doing wrong?

more thinner, more air, less paint on the mix of the gun. This is an opinion. I use lacquers but I think the application is the same.
