pamco advance rod question?

Even though they are 10 mm wrench size, they are most likely a 6 mm thread. Measure the thread, and if they are 6 mm ,then 6 ft-lbs ( or 72 in-lbs) should work fine. Make sure you use a lock washer on both ends of the advance rod.

My first post was 7 ft-lbs, but just found 6 ft-lbs listed in the Haynes manual.

thanks, actually broke one. didn't know if it where due to over torquing. we'll see, this time i'll use my torque wrench
