Has anybody tried to repair a faulty Pamco module? I mean it really only has 3 components that could be suspect. You would see a burnt resistor, so only leaves the Hall effect sensor , a diode and one transistor

Never looked inside one but a diode and a transistor can be checked with a Voltmeter ..
perhaps after soldering them out
The resistor can be a emitter resistor those commonly in HiFi fries at the same time as the transistor.
The little I know of electronics from HiFi is that it sometimes is one component a $ 1 a 3 minutes job
And other times many components + hard to find the fault and if get it wrong fries again.
If no secret IC circuits and not to physically small it can be done
If I should try I would de solder the pins of the large transistor .. And measure if you google you can find it online how it is done
There is also instruments one can buy
