Pamco install on pre 1971?

I have sent an email to Pamco Pete on this subject. I expect he is busy this time of year. So in the mean time I thought possibly someone on here has come across this issue.

I ordered a Pamco Ignition system for my 1980. It turns out my 1980 has a ?1970? Motor in it. (serial number gone, most parts are stamped 256- no spot on case for starter) I have picked up the coils and reg/rect from Mikes. Will the Pamco install the same on this?

You will still be able to use the Pamco. The main difference is what type of ignition you have now. If it's electronic TCI then you will need to install the advance unit and rod.
