Are there two holes in each petcock or one? I have two really clogged holes. I dont' want to break lose the two little screws on the side yet. Is there a good way to clean them out without that?

Thanks.

cool write-up. Thanks. My petcocks are non-vacuum. The fuel tubes for reserve and on are completly missing. (?) I wouldn't think they'd rust away. I'm looking at mikes xs page. Lots of cool stuff on there. I think I'll get two new ones since these are in such bad shape.

Post the year of your bike in your signature so's we'uns know what you wrench on.
My '77 sat for so long with varnish and water in the tank that the brass tubes were ate up, stock non-vacuum petcocks. ......I've gone aftermarket.

A hobby store (RC airplanes and such) usually has a nice selection of brass tubing if you care to try and replace them.
