Well I made my first huge newbie mistake today. Received last box of parts to wrap up motor build the other day. Today was the day. I installed the cam guides which I was waiting on. Fit perfect. Then started installing jugs and realized pistons are incorrect. My bike is a 1979 and piston pins are to big. I have had these pistons for some time now since the piston sleeves had to be honed. Pistons are new, includes rings, pins and clips. I just want to not see these go to waste and sit in my garage and rust away. In addition I now have to buy the correct set. Paid $195 for both would like to get something out of them. Anyone who is interested make me an offer please.
