price check - bike in a box

Being i haven't had time and could use the money on other projects, wondering what the going rate is for a 81 xs650 hardtailed (tc bros), clean title, wrapped exhaust built by a member here (forgot his name - does all the cool xs's) fresh painted disc mags w/ 0 mile coker tires, engine ran perfect/started 1st kick, just had oil seeping from the covers. basically everything to build a bobber, new bars/headlight/side mounted license plate bracket. its just all in a box, motor is whole still.

looking for a estimate on what these bikes are worth in pieces?

well you're in metro detroit, meaning there is going to be 100 calls when you list it. Then 5 people will show up, offer you 300 bucks and pretend like they're going to have it put together in a week. Detroit is full of these fools.

It's basically worth whatever is someone willing to pay for it, if i was to sell something like this i would start at about 700-800 bucks. If i was you i would sell me the chassis/motor and sell all the other pieces off on ebay or here and make more cash.
Just saying, id be interested.

ya i avoid craigs list at all times
