I plan on changing the angle of my rear shocks similar to what others have done, that is to tip the top of the shock toward the front of the bike. I like the look of the hardtail, but want to keep the shocks. Question is, for those who have done this, have you noticed any significant change in the ride? Obviously, there are variables, but I'd like some opinions to start with.

Thanks

Did you ever get an answer...I just bought a xs650 and plan on a top shock mount shock relocation, stock swingarm, and then lower the frame rails in the back. That being said I haven't exactly figured out what size shocks I will need.

Mine are leaned forward and down a bit. It makes the ride a little stiffer, but hardly noticeable. They are rebel 10.5" shocks which are pretty stiff when used on xs650's anyways.
