Hi, guys.

Hey, if one replaces washers as part of a head re-torque, is it a good idea to check the four or eight large acorns for torque after 100 or so miles? My left rear lower head gasket is weeping ever so slightly after my winter re-torque and washer replacement (brass or bronze, from Mike's), so I thought I'd check them (30 ft lbs) the next time I have the fuel tank off.

Thanks!

Yep, keep checking them until they hold torque. I go for a 100-200 mile ride then check and repeat until good. After the second time they all held except for the left rear (#5 in the pattern). That one took three or four times to hold. Not sure why.
