Wanted - rear brake part...

Now excuse my ignorance but what I need is that stem that moves the shoes and is linked to the rear brake pedal...the used rim i got had stripped splines and it appears that the part is hard to come by .
The sickle I have is a 1980 XS650 w/ 18" rear wire wheels , not sure if they were added after the fact or if they are the stock part for that bike .
I would even be willing to buy the whole removable caseing just to get that stem ...make sence?

i have a complete rear drum assembly for $20 plus cost of shipping, it will fit into a flat rate box.
