I'm assuming all of the years of mags are the same style? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have a set of mags, just wanna convert the bike to rear disc. Let me know what you have.
Hey the rear drum mag is worth a lot more than a disc version so if your selling it make sure you get the right price for it but if you wanna trade straight up instead I'm game lol jk unless u really want to jk kinda lol but it is worth a lot more so don't give it away it was only on one year xs650
IIRC a tubeless rim will say 'tubeless' on it. The older cast rims 16" & 19" were not certified tubeless. Something about porosity, any way they would not hold air without an inner tube. By the time Yamaha started making drum brake rear mags they had the porosity issues fixed, and those wheels all say 'tubeless'. There may be some tubeless disc brake rear mags out there, I don't know.
