Gday, new member and looking forward to a full street tracker rebuild with a phased 750 in my '77 Special. Still searching and reading posts but I'll start with one question at a time. I received my Omar's street tracker kit and it looks like I need some rear shocks slim enough to fit inside the bulges at the rear of the fender. Anybody had this issue? I don't really want the cheapest either after reading about how stiff the monzas are.
Cheers

Ikon? Sure they do. Also Progressive (Series 14 but not Series 12, which is fatter), YSS, and Hagon. Works Performance is top of the line, but I don't know if they make anything as skinny as what you seem to need, Nyk. All are good, some are better than others; you pretty much get what you pay for. Monzas are great if you don't want a shock to do anything more than keep the bike up off the back wheel. They're a classic example of the principle that you can't get something for nothing, but if you buy cheap enough you can easily get nothing for something!
