Hey guys so i'm trying to put a set of hoda rebel shocks on my 78 xs650 but the bottom shock covers are hitting the chainguard on one side and just touch the caliper brake line on the other side. my question is what mods did you do to make them fit ? can you remove the lower shock cover? did you cut your chain guard or just take it right off? and on the brake line it would hurt the line it is just pressed up against it. let me know.
