Found this on Craigslist as a titled rolling chassis a little over a month ago w/ #'s matching motor in frame. Came with a box of parts and a promise that the motor was a runner. Tank, side covers, and exhaust were bought through the forum a few years ago just in case I ever needed them. gggary donated a set of rebuildable carbs to the cause. Ready for tubes, tires, and Summer. I noticed an uncanny coincidence today while installing the exhaust and enjoying a brew in my favorite frosty mug from the local gentleman's club. Had to share. Let's ride.

Hey Jerm...

Looks great! I haven't beed to the "Gartier" in many years.. I may have a decent front fender for you if I can get off my ass and see if the new one polishes up good. Also, I bought some new Dunlop K70 tires that I'll be putting on soon. If you want my old tires and tubes (good tread just not my brand) you can have them for free. Here is mine just after I got it last year.. Hey maybe we should start a 1972 XS picture thread!?

JB
