Just received 4 new valve guides from Mikesxs.
My old intake and exhaust valve guides had red o-rings on them (see images).
Not sure whether I have the o-ring on properly in image 1 and image 2. YES, I DO.
If o-rings are needed, what is a part number for these, either OEM or Mikesxs, etc.?
Included in Mikesxs Top End Engine O-Ring Set: #18-0855. $15.50/Set.
Yamaha OEM O-Rings: 93210-15151-00, ~$2-3 ea.
(These are for TX650A/XS650B & XS650C. Not sure about other years.)
I also noticed a bit of a difference in the new vs. old valve guides, namely grooves just under the guide flange. See last image. Middle 2 guides are the new ones, old ones are on the ends.
