Daughter stopped by at the edge of dark last night to pick up the birds I've been chicken-sitting for her while we built her a coop.
She saw/heard the brush thrashing at the back corner of the pasture and further investigation revealed a fawn hung up in the fence.
I grabbed some welding gloves (SHARP little hoofies!) and a pair of wire cutters. No harm done as far as we can tell, it took off like a shot as soon as I cut enough wire to free it's back legs and belly.
