Rubber Bits

Now that Sumo is gone does anyone have a preference for where they get their rubber parts from, specifically speedo/tach dampers. Partzilla lists them for my 76 as does 650Direct at half the cost but does that mean half the quality? the Partzilla are OEM but they appear to only have one in stock.

I've gotten a few OEM parts, including rubber bits, from CMS in the Netherlands. They seem to have some parts that aren't readily available in the US and their prices are usually very competitive. Shipping to the US was relatively cheap and fast.

Yes, aftermarket rubber stuff is usually junk. A good example are the footpeg rubbers, just terrible and wear practically "bald" in a year or two. I do use Partzilla to look stuff up but usually buy from Part Shark because their prices are better most of the time.

@Wingedwheel Or do it yourself, (gauge dampers), and save $40.00. still have to buy the small dampers for the cup and bracket
