Seat installation help

Hey all,

I'm working on mounting my flat seat, but I'm not quite sure how I'll secure the front of it down, being as the rear mounting tab for the gas tank is right under where the front of the seat will sit. How have all of you gotten around this?

I welded a piece of 1/8 plate towards the rear of the frame with two bolt holes. I then welded bolts to the seat to fit into those holes.
On the seat I built a tunnel around the gas tank mount in the front. This covers the bolt that holds the gas tank down.
With the seat bolted down in the rear, the seat is not going anywhere. And the tunnel in the front gets rid of any side to side motion which could cause shear stress on the bolts.
