Shift drum bearing

Anyone know where I can get a shift drum bearing by itself? The dumb ass who I sent out my cases to be blasted said he was going to remove my shift mechanism and didn't. So now I need a shift drum bearing and I do not wish to pay $100 for a set from mikes.

You mean the cup shaped bearing pressed into the case?

There looks to be 1 on ebay - Buy It Now for $50 or they're taking offers, so maybe get it for $30 or so.

I just ordered one from them. Showed they still had two. Hope the site is up to date, being Saturday I might not find out for a couple of days. How is that bearing meant to be installed? I got an old 256 case that didn't have one. Robbed. Thanks for any help. Josh

Thanks. That helps. Got order confirmation on the bearing and should have new one in a few days. Wish there was more clarity as to the proper depth to install bearing. I guess I'll measure the position of the one in a 447 case and place the new on in my 256 case the same.
