Shortening speedo cable

Have any of you sucessfully shortened your speedo cable? If not, do you know where its possible to purchase a short cable?

I have a friend at an auto parts store that shortened both my speedo and tach. All for the price of a 6 pack of budweiser.

yea hothing like that here haha i think ima give motion pro a call tomorrow. they cant be that much considering a speedo cable for the 650, is only 15bucks how high can it go

Yeah, I just sent them an email too. Im thinking half the stock length would be good.
