Singular fuel line?

Does anyone know if a guy can use only one fuel inlet for two mikuni bs38s since it appears both floats are connected? I'm having a hard time splitting one line into two and keeping good flow of fuel.

Yes you can. In fact I believe from 80 to 83 they came from the factory with just one petcock and one fuel line.

If you use a 90 degree fuel filter, it really simplifies the fuel line routing. I use 2 of those filters to route my 2 fuel lines.
