Ive been looking for a front drum for a while now. I went over a friends house the other day and he was scrapping a early 70s sl100. The front wheel has a smaller drum on it. Does anyone know what it would take to get this to fit?? Ive searched and cant find anyone that has done this yet. Im not concerned with the axle size, I can figure that out later. What im mainly concerned with is the width and what size tire i can fit on the rim. It came with a 2.75-19 front. Think a 3.25-19 is too much of a stretch???? Or is there any other alternatives to spending the high dollar for the xs650 front drum??

Dunno about the wheel fit etc but I had a 1971 SL100, blue with white stripes, it kills me to think of one going to the scrapper. :(

you can usually go up 1 size on a tire 2.75 to 3.00 wouldn't be to bad but after that you're pinching in the sidewalls which changes the tread footprint, lots of honda 350/450/500 double leading front brakes out there
