Solid State REG/REC question

Does anyone know if the REG/REC combo unit from Mikes XS comes with the nylon screws for the stator or do you have to buy those elsewhere?

I don't think you need the screws if you buy the one made specifically for the '70 to '79 bikes. But why would you even buy that thing when there are other options at less than half the cost?

I'm very limited on the electrical knowledge and this seems very easy....What would be the easier less expensive way?

The VR115 auto regulator for about $20 and a 3 phase rectifier off eBay for about $12. I'm no electrical whiz either but these things are pretty much "plug and play", if you have a '79 or older 650. Here's a thread with the info .....
