This winters project was a solo seat. It is an ebay harley police solo seat and bracket with a mount that I welded up. All bolt on so I can switch back to a standard seat at any time. I had to drill and tap a hole in the gas tank mount, my 1975 did not have one. I also epoxied two metric all thread coupling nuts on the inside of the frame for the other two bolts. I should of welded them but my welding skills are not that good, and there were too many wires too close, so if the epoxy breaks then I will have them welded. The next project is to build a rack between the seat and existing rack.

get r the way you like it! Good on you. That seat sure looks like an "all dayer". How many guys have built bikes that LOOK so cool that they don't go beyond the nearest bar anymore. Maybe fab some "rear view mirror style" clamps around the frame tubes for those rear bolts....

Well I finally finished the rack behind the seat.
