Regarding the brush springs inside the starter,
does anyone have one of those knocking around in a box somewhere and would like to measure it for me, please?
From what i can deduct they are only available in repair kits and i want to try to find a replacement as mine have rusted away, leaving two fresh brushes and a good holder plate behind.
Many different types and sizes of generic springs are available on the market.
The most important measurement is the width/thickness.
I have the early type starter with two brushes but i believe they are the same size as the later type with four brushes.
