hey just wondering I'm in the process of making a fake oil tank to hold all my electrics and battery,
just wondering do the stock coils maintain earth through the bolts or can i just place them in there loosely??
(when i say loosely the box in going to be a tight squeeze to fit everything in!!!)

the plugs is the earth. the bolts for the coils provide a path for cooling. cramming them in a box will get you stranded.

If you need to save some space you can use a dual output coil. I like the Honda coil that was used on the 1500 GoldWings, also used on over 70 some different Hondas. This is a small coil with a good reputation.

that was going to be my next question! i made a mount yesterday anyway so its all apples.

I'm just going to run this stock gin til i have any trouble then just change out to a boyer.
