Stock 78, pemco ignition, rectifier from mike xs, LED turn signals,
I would like to trash my voltage regulator and the safety relay. Both are big and ugly. Is there a electronic version...

What does everybody use or do?. I don't see any of this stuff on your bobbers and chopper when it comes to a voltage regulators or wiring for that matter? I have the stock gigantic coils on either side of the battery..

What is the Chrysler regulator and where would i get one.

Still learning..

For the 70 to 79 years you can use an automotive NOS solid state regulator. The one I use is called a Standard VR-115.

Google to find one, perhaps e-bay. I bought mine for $10.00 plus $8.00 shipping.

They come with a 4 pin connector. I cut the 4 pin off and used a 3 pin connector (xsdirect) to plug into the stock harness.

Let me know if you buy one, and I will tell you how to connect the coloured wires.

Keep the Safety Relay.

Safety relay, from what I'm starting to figure out is that it only prevents the starter from activating when the bike is running...If I disconnect it then i will only have kick start.
or not?...
