Factory (I believe) gauges from my 1981 XS650 Special-II. There are a lot of details and differences between the gauges on XS's in general, but so far as I know these are the ones that were on my bike when it was sold brand new in 81 as a Special. They read at 11,935.2 miles exactly. There is something that must be stripped on the inside of the speedo because one of the nuts that hold the shell together spins freely. I do not want to take it apart to try to fix it myself, as I have little experience with the inside of a gauge. What I DO know is that they work flawlessly on this bike. The needles were always smooth and not bouncy (a little cable lube can go a long ways). They read accurately for the most part. As accurate as any other 70's or 80's motorcycles were supposed to. I know they will make someone very happy. $40 + shipping. Thanks.
