Stupid question on control switches

I have a curious question about handlebar control switches. I have a control that I'm looking to use, I've been wondering if a "horn" button can be used as a "start" button. I'm pretty stupid to electrical but just been wondering if I'll need to buy another control to suite my project. Thanks!
