My xs has had the terrible roller bearing 'upgrade' and I've noticed the lock nut has been fitted minus the lock tab, is this normal when roller bearings are fitted or has it just been omitted somewhere along the way? I'm contemplating fitting bronze bushes and a new lock tab, it's evident on the inner metal bush that roller bearings don't have enough movement in this application to fully rotate so they end up wearing marks where they contact.
you are right! That's why it's not there. Bronze bushes do seem a better option
