TC Bros simplified wiring harness.... HELP!!!

I purchased a 6pin CDI wiring harness from TC Bros for my 1980 xs650. I followed the instructions perfectly but it keeps shorting out when i turn the keys. I have narrowed it down to the red and brown wires from the kit that are supposed to connect to the ignition switch from the rectifier/regulator (brown wire) and from the CDI (Red wire). Any suggestions?

Have you looked for other shorts, maybe unrelated to the new harness? Is the rectifier fully isolated?

there are no other shorts and the rectifier was completely isolated....

Draw a picture of how your ignition switch is wired and post it here

figured it out.... smallest short up by the coils... thanks
