Each morning as we exit the park we ride by at least one, maybe two camping parks literally right outside the park. We stay at "The Cabins at Dry Creek" and go into town to gas up.

I received my confirmation via email. Weds, Thurs, Fri nights. The stay was 1 day short of what I expected. We ride Saturday and Ben and I will stay the night to decompress, load bikes, etc. The lodge had us checking out Saturday. I did extend that to checking out Sunday. Anybody on the fence on this gathering, a very nice double queen cabin is (according to my invoice, $292 for 3 nights) a little under $100 a night. I hope it is not inappropriate to bring up $ here... (delete it if I am being out of line).

The folks at the State Park are so very ice to work with. Now I want to meet some (one ) folks with the State Patrol...
Made my reservation for 8-11 at the RV camp grounds. Bringing 2 maybe 3 bikes.

Coming up fast! We'll be there - the only question remaining is whether Mike will have his bike ready to go as it's been stashed away for the past year while he has been occupied in (re)building a house. He has yet to try to awaken it from its long term slumber, so it's an unknown whether it'll be ready to go. If push comes to shove, he may be forced to ride one of my "twins".
