The beginning starts with all my friends buying and building HardTail XS650 bobber, and I wanted to be different and creative. So, I got online and looked at everybody else's bikes. I found my MUSE.. it was Adam Neelys' Brat from MetalSoulEngineering.com, I really like its line and its just a clean ride.. heres his bike:

So I bought a Purple 79 XS650 Special with 14k with KZ1000 pipes, for 550.00 with title..
The bike has Mag wheels front and rear disc, and some badass Walmart skull stickers and for some crazy reason alot of Kawi Green. weird?

So, I don't think I took any pics of the bike as is so here is the start of My build:

So, as you see I cut the seat tubes and sissy, I have been thinking about stretching the swingarm +6, but I want to get it riding before anything else is done. Slater stopped by to help and hammered out this seatpan.. I like it but the king/queen look isn't workin for me.. Rockin the Clubman Backwards..

I bought the Clubman Bars and I like them but I'm not sure of my posture..

Back in the day (mid 70's) we used to load up with ammunition, beer, food, etc and go up to the Sierras on a run they call the Rubicon. Jeeper's Jamboree still goes there but it's a lot tamer than it was then. 14 miles and it took most of the day. Cool shit. Really miss it but it's not in my program anymore. 'preciate the invite. Prolly never happen tho.

You said that the shocks were rebel 250s? How tall are these and how do they ride? I am 220lbs and would be interested in if these have any give at all or ride hard as hell. . .
