The new 21 inch rim thread

I know this has been discussed many times over on here. But I can't find an answer to this question.

I want to try a 21 inch up front but still use a front brake. I know switching out front ends makes it possible but can it be done on a stock fork assembly? My thinking is that the caliper would have to be offset to run a larger rim yet still match up the caliper to the rotor. I have been checking out 21 inch dirt bike rims. Perhaps a rim with a smaller rotor would match up to the stock caliper position. Hoping this makes sense to someone else and maybe someone has an idea. Lol

a XS650 hub laced to a 21" wheel would allow you to keep your front brake without issues

That's what I was thinking but overthought it. Any specific rim/spokes I should look for? This is new territory for me.

Call up Buchanon Spoke I bet they can set you right up.

mike xs makes a 21 rim and spokes for an xs650 hub

I looked and missed that, mikes only has a 64 spoke. I need a 32.

Sorry, I meant 64 spoke rim. My hub is a 32.

I believe xs650 wheels are 36 spoke unless its a herritige 64/48 spoke

I think your right. Just sucks cause mikes is offering 64 spoke rims on clearance for like $40 but don't have any 32 spoke. Thanks for the link though.
