Stupid thing is, its a plastic based repro' that can be bought new for £140 ..Some desperate suckers out there in Thiefbay land.

That's where prices are headed for sure on stock standard parts. I grabbed an as new 76 seat at the offered price of $100 and thought I stole it.

There was just a XS1/2 seat sold on ebay. The guy said he repainted the pan, and it was original foam. Poor guy only got $420 for it.

It did look super nice though.

If you think that's bad, my friend is restoring a 75 Suzuki RE5. Rotary powered bike. There was a seat on eBay that started at $180.00 he bailed out of the bidding when it hit $500. I think it eventually went for $600 plus shipping.

Ive held on to a few bases & foams, Ill just get 'em re-covered when needed. Ill make another fibreglass mould from one too ,wait til they hit £400 & start selling
