Thoughts on deal

Hi,

My first purchase was for $450 and was a 1981 XS650 Special SH. Got damn lucky.

Looking to buy 1 more kto redo so that I would have 2 bikes for 2 sons.

I've got the following opportunity...if it runs, i'm leaning to take it. Thoughts?

I think prices differ regionally, but that looks like a damn good deal.

Sure looks that the bike has been well taken care of, the rotors are drilled and you don't just do that on a whim unless you love your bike. So yea without hearing the bike and poking around on it, my money is on that its been well taken care of on just appearances alone. If that is the case and its a good runner and your not going to chop the hell out of it but instead leave it stock then yea 1350 seems to be a pretty good deal in my eyes.

My wife.said no....why did I pick now to start saving. He says it runs and has 4k miles. If interested, its on craigslist I'm cincinnatti. Damn.

Too bad, 4 thousand miles is basically a new bike........I saw that one on Cincis' Craigslist. Somebody will get a fair, not steal, deal.
