Just had a carb (BS38's) support bracket fabricated out of 304 Stainless. The stock one I had is fine functionally, but looks dull and rather crappy looking, not sure if its galvanized carbon steel or what.

At any rate, I may replace the factory pan (phillips) head screws (OEM# 98507-06014-00) with some nicer looking fastener like a socket head screws, perhaps SST.

Does anyone know the fastener dimensions I need assuming I want a socket head screw (with high-collar lock washer)?

I may or may not want to use SST since it can mow through aluminum threads.... (i.e., see my stripped float bowl screw hole thread!).

Thanks!
