throttle cables

Took the light switch apart and noticed that the throttle cables were crossed. Are they supposed to be straight up or do they actually cross each other?

Do you mean crossed inside the housing where they hook to the twist grip? No, they shouldn't be crossed there, just straight in and attached to the throttle tube.

Yes crossed where they hook to the twist grip
