In two weeks, there will be two more bikes in my shop. Another 1972 XS650 with a 750 kit and a 1974 TX650A. The 74 runs nut need a new paint and some minor adjustments. The 72 needs more work but it was always store inside. I'm thinking about using the 72 engine in the 74 frame and build a bobber with it. The 72 has 23000 miles and the 74, 18000 miles. The guy sell both for 1100$. I have to drive about 700 miles to get them (350 from here) but I can't wait to bring them home. Here's pics from the ads I saw on internet.

Finally, I only bought the XS2. The 74 was not in good shape at all and honestly, I only wanted to buy the 72. Another thing, the guys didn't have the "papers" to register them and here, we can't drive with a bike loaded in a pickup or in a trailer without registration. I had to drive about 350-400 miles to get back home so I didn't wanted to get a ticket from cops. So I removed the handlebars and the left exhaust, load the bike "on the side" in my truck, put boxes of parts around it and I installed my soft cover over the bed. Now, the bike is parked in my shop. I will finish to rebuild my stock XS2 first and try to find ideas to build a bike that will look like a bobber with it.
